Three-car crash in West Virginia causes head injury

When an accident occurs, anything could happen. The individuals involved could be seriously injured or even killed. The victims who suffer injuries could be in critical condition and have to endure a series of surgeries or could even be permanently disabled by the automobile collision. This does not only impact the injured parties but also their loved ones, because they could have a lifetime of medical needs.

A multi-vehicle accident was reported in Kanawha County recently. Authorities in West Virginia responded to the three-vehicle crash which, according to reports, happened just before 9 a.m. at 3400 MacCorkle Ave. S.E. Emergency crews assessed those involved and it was reported that at least one person suffered a head injury.

It is not clear at this time what caused the accident and how many people were involved and injured in the crash. Authorities will continue to investigate the crash in order to determine cause and liability. If a driver is found to be at fault, they could be liable for the resulting injuries and damages. An injured party could file a personal injury claim in order to recover compensation that could be used to cover the expenses associated with the accident.

A brain or head injury can be a serious and often life-altering injury. Those who suffer a head trauma at the hands of a negligent driver should understand that they have rights and options. The injury could require tests and surgeries and could impact the injured party for the rest of their life. Filing for compensation could help alleviate the financial burdens the accident caused.
