Young father killed in head-on collision and two others injured

No matter what age a person is, the ability to drive and utilize vehicles to get from one place to another is a necessity. But regardless of their age or eventual destination, t is always crucial to pay attention to the road. Driving safely does not only mean avoiding distractions, it also means not speeding, following traffic signs and keeping a safe distance from other vehicles. When a car accident occurs, usually a driver is being negligent. Although accidents do happen, when it comes to automobile accidents, serious injuries, severe damage and even death can be avoided if drivers were to remain cautious on the road.

In a head-on collision occurred in West Virginia recently, a 21-year-old father of a young baby was driving a vehicle with his brother-in-law as a passenger. The young driver supposedly crossed the centerline and collided with another vehicle head-on. Emergency crews responded to the wreck and tried to help the accident victims as soon as possible.

The young driver of the vehicle that crossed the centerline did not survive the collision. His brother-in-law was seriously injured and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The driver in the other vehicle suffered injuries but they were not reported to be serious.

The accident is still under investigation and the cause has yet to be fully established. A victim's ability to file a suit in an accident like this is dependent on the cause and liability. A person injured in an accident like this could file a personal injury suit to cover their medical bills, damages and pain and suffering. Though nothing can replace the loss a family suffers when they lose a loved one in a car accident, they could file a wrongful death claim filed to cover expenses such as medical bills, funerals costs, lost wages, damages and pain and suffering.

A fatal automobile collision can be very emotional and life changing for those involved and the friends and family of the victims. Not only is it a traumatic experience but it also could result in major financial burdens that either the injured parties will suffer or the loved ones of a deceased victim.
